Recently, Annie Health officially unveiled its overseas production capacity strategic layout. The brand plans to launch a dedicated modern deep-processing fish oil factory in Rajin City, the DPRK, in 2027. By anchoring premium deep-sea raw material sources, it will perfect its global fish oil supply chain system.

The factory will be located in Rajin Port of the Rason Economic and Trade Special Zone. The area boasts pristine deep-sea fishing grounds abundant in native pelagic fish stocks. Fresh catches will undergo immediate processing right after landing to maximally preserve the natural activity of EPA and DHA, preventing fish oil oxidation and losses caused by secondary raw material transshipment from the source. Leveraging Rajin’s cross-border port location and special preferential policies for foreign investors in the special zone, the project enjoys multiple advantages including tax incentives, favorable land terms and streamlined cross-border customs clearance, opening up land-sea logistics routes linking China, the DPRK and Russia across Northeast Asia.
The entire plant will be constructed in full compliance with international food safety production standards including GMP and ISO22000. It integrates deep-sea raw material extraction, high-end molecular distillation refining, fish oil soft capsule production, bonded warehousing and cross-border delivery, covering full-line businesses including bulk raw material sales, brand OEM & ODM customization, and finished product distribution.

This overseas factory construction enables Annie Health to achieve independent control over upstream raw materials, lower production costs and upgrade product quality, empowering its proprietary nutritional product lines, nationwide authorized distributors and OEM partners. Fully compliant with the economic, trade and production regulations of both countries, the project will adopt localized employment and coordinate with local fisheries to deliver win-win growth for the enterprise and regional industries alike.

Scheduled to complete infrastructure construction, equipment commissioning and official operation in 2027, the project will consolidate the brand’s core strengths in marine health industry and support the global supply of high-quality fish oil dietary supplements.
